Our Programs
The Capital Area Dental Foundation (CADF) transforms lives in Central Texas with healthy smiles by offering life-changing access to charitable dental care. CADF is proud partners with leading Texas nonprofits to serve those in need in our Central Texas community. Our organization currently delivers care through our two signature programs Community Dental Days and Season for Caring.
Community Dental Days
CADF joined forces with Dentists with a Heart to launch Community Dental Days in October 2017. Since then, this project has produced more than a dozen service days and provided care to more than 1300 patients! The most recent event took place at Round Rock Dental Group and Smiles Creation in September 2025 with 65 volunteers delivering more than $70,000 in care to 90 patients.
The care provided at CADF Community Dental Days includes exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions and preventative education. We have also partnered with LoneStar Endodontics and Central Texas Periodontics to offer limited specialized care to select Community Dental Day patients.

Season for Caring
Since 2011, CADF has been a partner for the Austin American-Statesman Season for Caring campaign during the holiday season.
CADF volunteers have delivered more than $250,000 in life-changing charitable dental care to families nominated to participate in the Season for Caring program.
