Augustin Huerta is a young man who dreams of going to college.of going to college. He lives with his family in a trailer park in an impoverished rural area and could never have afforded braces. Fortunately, Barry Rouch, was there to help. Dr. Rouch, a CADF volunteer provider and former board member, has been an active supporter of the Austin American-Statesman’s Season for Caring campaign that matches deserving families with nonprofits.
After several years of orthodontic treatment, Augustin now has a bright, healthy smile and is full of confidence. His mother, who was being treated for a serious illness, received dental care from another CADF volunteer and board member, Dr. Stanley LaCroix.
